I have completed M.Sc degree from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in the year 2008. Then, I joined as a Ph.D. student under Dr. K.M. Parida in January 2009. Presently, I am working as a senior research fellow. I have focused my research on the development of various visible light responsive mixed metal oxide photocatalysts for hydrogen production and pollution abatement.  Optimisation of synthesis methods and development of highly active nanostructured photocatalysts for hydrogen production is the main target of my research work.

I completed M.Sc degree in chemistry from Berhampur University in 2008. I am currently working as a Ph.D student in CSIR-IMMT under the supervision of Dr. K. M. Parida. My research interests includes the development of single phase ABO3 perovskites and their modifications with metals, metal oxides and metal oxy-iodides to active them under visible light and also inhibit the electron-hole recombination factor in the semiconductor systems. The activities of the designed materials are tested for energy and environmental applications
